HEPA/ULPA and PTFE
filters are available with a variety of options such:
- Sizes as small as 4” X 4” and
as large as 36” X 72” in anodized aluminum frames as
short as 2 ¾” and as tall as 9 ½” in a single extrusion.
With multiple extrusions the finished filter can be much
taller.
- Non-standard efficiencies (as
high as 99.999995@ 0.10 micron in micro-fiber glass
media).
- Non-standard frame heights and
configurations.

Note: One of the most important features of the FFU
is the proper selection of the media for the application
(E.G. must use PTFE for 300 mm applications).

c) Lower Pressure Drop Filter-
For those applications where a lower initial pressure
drop, and/or higher CFM output is desired, pleat pack
heights of 3” or 4” can be substituted for the standard
2”.

D) PTFE Filter/300 mm Applications-
For applications where the FFU will provide clean air to a
300 mm semiconductor application the Sematech I300I
Factory Guideline Compliance: Factory Maturity Assessment
(FIMA) for 300 mm. defines the filter as being low boron,
and made of PTFE media (the full document is available by
