The Standard Unit Has the Pressure Plenum and HEPA/ULPA/PTFE Filter Held Together with Over-Center Draw Latches

The standard Airflotek “EURO” FFU has the pressure plenum attached to the filter with latches.

In the standard Airflotek “EURO” FFU the ULPA/HEPA/PTFE filter is held onto the plenum with “take-up” latches, and replacement of the filter requires removal of the FFU from it’s mounting.

Replaceable Filters
The filter can be replaced from below without removing the FFU.

A Room-Side-Replaceable (RSR) FFU can be provided so the filter can be dropped out of the bottom of the FFU for service or replacement, without removing the FFU itself. In this case urethane based gel is factory poured in an outer channel of the filter, and this mates with a “knife-edge” in the FFU, eliminating the need for the poron gasket.
