Company History

In 1986 Jim Harris incorporated TES, Inc. in Fremont, California as a micro-contamination control sales representative organization. Jim and his long time associate, Larry Ottesen bring over 50 years of HEPA/ULPA air flow, ESD/ ESA, and micro-contamination experience to the table.

Sales History

Technical Equipment Sales, Inc (TES) was originally founded to serve the clean room construction industry. However with the advent of SMIF boxes that eventually lead to 300 mm FOUPS, we found ourselves increasingly called on to solve clean air issues on and around Semiconductor process tools and EFEMs. Additionally our experiences and the products we were comfortable with led us into complimentary areas requiring clean air, such as Memory and Semi mini-environments, and Pharmaceutical RABS FFUs. Over the years this side of our business grew substantially and in 2004 got it’s own identity-TES-Clean Air Systems. Teaming with our strategic partnering factories, we are in an ideal position to solve your contamination control, airflow, and ESD/ESA challenges.
